Indie rock band based out of Birmingham, Alabama.


Portico - Hunter Wright [vocals, guitar], Colton Miller [guitar], Cameron Champion [bass], Hunter Miller [drums] -  delivers thoughtful, melodic, energetic rock music. The quartet blends influences from slowcore, post-punk, and alternative rock to forge an indie rock-adjacent sound that is digestible, yet abrasive enough to keep things interesting. The trio of Cameron, Colton, and Hunter crossed paths in the fall of 2021, quickly forming a musical connection over shared influences and a penchant for improvisation. A flurry of songs were crafted the following year, culminating with the release of their debut album “Bleeding In The Summer” in January of 2023. With their introductory statement available to the world and the addition of Hunter #2 on drums, the band has begun sharing their music through its intended medium: live and loud.
